With a unique experience in design and delivery of large scale steam generators systems for CSP plants, Aalborg CSP was awarded the order for a 25MWe steam generator system for the Gujarat Solar One CSP project.

The CSP plant, located in Rapar in Jutch district of Gujarat, was the first in India to use thermal energy storage, providing green energy for up to 9 hours.
The CSP plant utilizes the key features of Aalborg CSP's thermail oil steam generator system. The optimised system won international recognition due to its operational benefits incl. guaranteed leakage-free operation and low maintenance as well as fast start-up.
Aalborg CSP's scope included economizer, evaporator incl. steam drum, superheater, reheaters, project management, documentation, design and quality assurance
