CO₂ is a natural refrigerant with a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 1, making it an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic refrigerants, which often have high GWP values.

Energy-efficient refrigerant

CO₂ has excellent thermodynamic properties, leading to high energy efficiency. This means that heat pump systems using CO₂ as a refrigerant can achieve higher COP (Coefficient of Performance) values compared to systems using traditional refrigerants.

Moreover, CO₂ is neither flammable nor toxic, enhancing safety during use and maintenance of the heat pump system. Its wide range of applications as well as its ability to operate at lower temperatures makes it suitable for both residential and industrial applications.
