Svante Bundgaard, CEO of Aalborg CSP A/S

Svante Bundgaard is the Chief Executive Officer of Aalborg CSP A/S. He joined Aalborg CSP A/S in 2012 with the single objective of establishing continued growth for the company by realizing competitive green energy projects around the world.

Relying on best practices from the wind industry as former Head of Engineering and VP for Projects and Business Development at Siemens Wind Power, Mr. Bundgaard has brought vast cost-optimization experience to the solar industry - enabling Aalborg CSP to broaden its project pipeline in new markets.

Svante Bundgaard’s leadership considerably diversified Aalborg CSP’s revenue portfolio. Besides advancing the company’s core steam boiler business, his corporate strategy has enriched Aalborg CSP’s reference list with unique Solar District Heating and Integrated Energy System projects as well as facilitated development of new forms of energy storage technologies.

Activities all aiming at changing energy for a variety of industries worldwide. Today, Aalborg CSP A/S has more than 1,700 MWth solar installations all over the world.

Svante Bundgaard holds an MSc degree in Business Administration & Logistics from Aarhus University (Denmark).
