We offer turnkey delivery of geothermal heat pump systems based on natural refrigerants. Our solutions are customized and tailored to our customers' individual needs for the most value-adding result.

How does it work?

A geothermal plant utilizes the energy from hot water heated by the Earth's core. The geothermal energy is utilized by pumping hot water to the surface from a depth of 1-2.5 kilometers. The energy is extracted from the hot water by means of heat exchangers and heat pumps, after which the heat is transferred to the water in the district heating network. Afterwards, the geothermal water is pumped back into the same underground reservoir, just a few hundred meters from where it was originally extracted.

Optimized for geothermal energy

The heat pump solution is optimized to handle the geothermal water, which contains various sediments such as salt, sand, and more. Moreover, it is designed to manage the, at times, fluctuating temperatures and flow rates from the geothermal energy source.
