Mid November 2011 Aalborg CSP received an order for a 50+MWe parabolic trough solar plant from Godawari in India. The parabolic trough solar plant is now under construction and will be designed and delivered by Aalborg CSP.
Aalborg CSP has designed and is supplying the steam generating equipment for a prototype CSP system based on Fresnel technology.
The goal with this prototype facility is to prove that it is possible to produce live steam at 100 bars directly in the solar field.
In cooperation with the visionary Thisted Varmeforsyning, Aalborg CSP is establishing of the world's first concentrating solar power system for the production of district heating. The system consists of 830m2 parabolic shaped mirrors.
Aalborg CSP is cooperating with a Turkish costumer in the development of a CSP solar tower plant.
The receiver, developed and delivered by Aalborg CSP, consists of an evaporator and a super heater.
