CSP module solution - an energy source for
industries
As Aalborg CSP exploited experience
and knowhow to become market leaders in developing utility sized
applications, the experience and competences within this field have
been applied in developing industrial size module solutions.
The CSP module
solution is a state of the art technology that can be
a stand-alone or an add-on to an existing energy source supplying
electricity or process steam for various purposes. The industrial
size module system can produce from 250kWe to 10MWe.
The module system is a parabolic trough system or
a solar
tower system, depending on the
specific requirements of each customer.
As a guideline the parabolic
trough system is suited for:
- Hot water generation (incl district heating) up to
160°C
- Saturated steam up to 35 bar / 242°C
and as a guideline the solar tower system is suited
for:
- Saturated steam up to 65 bar / 280°C
- Superheated steam up to 110 bar / 540°C
